SongBird Vocal Jazz Fest Options

Participants may register for either morning or afternoon sessions, or the full day of festival events. The best & most economical choice option is the "All-Day Pass.”  Participants that purchase the "All-Day Pass" are invited to sing two songs in the evening showcase with our professional rhythm section. (Bring 3 copies of each song you plan to present) Please feel free to contact us with any questions regarding the offered workshops so we can help you with a choice that works best for you!

Registration Choices

-All Day Pass   

"All Day Pass" includes all events of the day (Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021) including all workshops, the master class, rehearsal with professional rhythm section and evening showcase performance. > The Friday, Nov. 5 performance by Alexis Cole at VENUE is not included in the "All Day Pass" purchase price.  - $165

-Afternoon Sessions Only
'Afternoon Sessions Only" includes three workshops: Workshop with Faculty, Workshop with Faculty, and Vocal Master Class with Alexis Cole.  Afternoon Session Only registration does not include participation in the evening showcase which is reserved for All Day Pass participants only. - $125

If you wish to attend the 7:30pm showcase presentation only, as an audience member, we would love to have you!  Tickets can be purchased in advance at www.themuseperformancespace.com or at the door. General admission - $15

 -Friday Evening (6:30 PM) Concert at the Muse Performance Space, featuring guest artist Alexis Cole, with Jeff Jenkins on piano, Peter Huffaker on bass, and Mike D'Angelo on drums.

> Those registered for the Saturday festival will receive a 10% discount on tickets for the Alexis Cole concert on Nov. 6. The discount code will be emailed to you upon receipt of your completed online registration.

FAQ

May I bring my own food to the festival?  Snacks are fine. We have scheduled lunch and dinner breaks. The Muse Performance Space is located near several restaurants and fast food establishments for your convenience. 

May I come and go throughout the day? Yes, we have registration options for full-day, half-day or single workshop attendance @ SBJF.

Is there free parking? Yes, in the lot behind the Muse.

Are masks required? No.

Will I be required to sing and perform in the showcase, or can I just observe? We want everyone to participate at their own comfort level!

Is there an age or experience requirement for any of the day's events? This event will be geared towards vocalists who have some to extensive singing experience. (For information regarding experience expectations, reach out via our contact page.) We ask that all workshop participants be age 16 or older. For both the Showcase concert and Alexis Cole's evening performance, audience members of all ages are warmly welcomed. 

Can I audio or video record the workshops or concerts? We ask that you do not record the workshops or master class. Taking photographs, however, is welcome. (If you share on social media, please tag us and Muse Performance Space.) You may also bring someone to record your performance during the showcase, but you cannot take videos of the other performers.

Will there be food available at the event venue?  We will provide free coffee and water throughout the day. Pastries and snacks will be provided during the morning registration time.  Concessions (snacks, sparkling water, wine and beer may be purchased during the showcase evening concert.
